Solutions
Brown Mannschreck Imaging Solutions was
originally founded in 1979 by Brown Transfer & Storage Company, a
well known and respected business in the St. Joseph area for over
100 years. Brown Mannschreck became authorized to sell and service
Sharp copiers in 1981 and facsimile products were introduced a few
years later. For years the business was located downtown on South 6th Street in the old Brown
Transfer & Storage Building.
The business was purchased by a new owner in 1996 and was relocated to within the
Mitchell
Woods
Business
Park. During the time
period from 1996 to 2001, the business sold and serviced Sharp
copiers and facsimiles, Riso Duplicators, Hewlett Packard printers,
and Ascom Hasler mailing systems. Then, in 2001, the business was
sold and switched manufactures.
Today, Sharp copiers and printers are sold
once again in St. Joseph, this time by the Brown Mannschreck
Imaging Solutions team. In 2003 Steve Pitluck as President, Steve Halter as Sales Division Manager, and Kevin
Krambeer as Service Division Manager re-formed the original Brown
Mannschreck and brought the Sharp dealership back to the St. Joseph
area. Mr. Pitluck has an extensive background in all aspects of
business having been the President of Brown Companies for more than
20 years. Mr. Halter has 10 years experience in the Office Equipment
business, having managed the Brown Business Systems Sales Division.
Mr. Krambeer has been with Brown Mannschreck Business Systems and
Brown Business Systems since 1988, staying with the local Sharp
dealership through several ownership changes and acting as Service
Manager since 1992.
Brown Mannschreck Imaging Solutions employs
approximately 6 people in sales, service and administration. A great
deal of pride is obtained in recruiting and hiring only the most
professional people. Brown Mannschreck Imaging Solutions can only
continue to grow and prosper with the best people, because without
the best people, the best product is of no value.

corporate vision of Brown Mannschreck Imaging Solutions is to
re-establish the “legendary service” and quality products it has
been known to provide to customers for years by bringing the name
Sharp back to the St. Joseph area and becoming the dominate office
equipment dealer it once was.
